Welcome! On this site you will find information about me, my work, and what I have been up to in the last few years. I recently earned my MS in User Experience Design at Kent State University and teach graphic design full time at Lakeland Community College.

Chagrin River Review Covers

Ongoing project
Starting in the Fall of 2012, I began working with the Lakeland Community College English department to create covers and website banners for their online literary magazine. On issues 3, 6 and 7, I used my own photography, and for the other covers I worked with local artists and photographers to showcase their work.

Final Project: Shop Locally PSA

Class: Kinetic & Sequential, Spring 2012
For our final project we were asked to create a 30 to 45 second public service announcement. I chose local shopping, and wanted to try a more collage/illustrative style. There are a couple "quick" transitions that need adjusted, but I am overall happy with the outcome.

Contributing Design
I am so fortunate to have such a great relationship with the my friends at HOW magazine since working there as art director from 1998 to 2001. I am often asked to help out on a freelance basis, and I am always happy to oblige! I have worked on many of their competition issues, and hope to work on many more in the future.

Learning Frames iPad app prototype

Class: Advanced Kinetic & Sequential, Fall 2011
This is the walk-through video I made using AfterEffects for my educational iPad app that I developed, which was created to motivate children to learn in school. Different students enjoy different subjects, so by combining different subjects into one, interactive project, it will appeal to many different students and connect their love of digital media with the inspiration to learn in the classroom.
